Crosswind Founder Tony Johnson launches Scrum program
January 10, 2018
Carrollton, Texas
Crosswind Learning CEO & Founder Tony Johnson is launching a Scrum course pilot program. The program will encompass two different course structures. The initial course will be a 2-day Non-Certified Scrum course, the other being a 4-hour Introduction to Scrum course.
Starting in early 2018, the multi-day Non-Certified Scrum course will align with the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) learning objectives. This course will be offered approximately every 6 weeks throughout 2018, with at least ten offerings in 2018 in a classroom only environment.
The 4-hour Intro to Scrum course will launch in late 2018 and be offered classroom and virtual live. The course will be offered at least every other month.
This new program offering should also lead the way to course offerings that align with the Scrum Alliance and Scaled Agile Framework credentials.
Crosswind CEO & Founder Tony Johnson had the following to say about this launch: “Scrum and most things agile are gaining in popularity every day. We started as a traditional waterfall based training company 20 years ago, but over the last decade we have seen a steady increase in the interest in Scrum and most things agile related. These two courses launching will open the door to offering an alumni base of 20 years a path to Scrum, using the Crosswind Way”.
